100 Years From Today is a living tribute to Tin Pan Alley lyricist Joe Young, reimagined a century on by his great-nephew Peter Fox. Produced at The Brooklyn Pearl and released on Brooklyn Pearl Records, the project brings classic Young songs into the present through intimate new recordings by a rotating cast of contemporary artists—each session recorded and filmed in the Brooklyn Pearl studio.

Rooted in lineage but alive with modern voices, the series opens with fresh interpretations of “A Hundred Years From Today” and “You’re My Everything,” honoring the timeless craft of American songwriting while letting today’s performers make it their own.

WHEN THE WAR WAS ON

Set against haunting vintage WWI footage, this performance features Trevor Vaughn delivering a searing rendition of Blind Willie Johnson's 1929 reflection on the Great War—a rare secular song from the gospel blues master examining wartime sacrifice, government control, and racial inequality. Produced by Peter Fox, the video's stark archival imagery seems all too familiar given the world’s current instability.
